DESCRIPTION

This brass one armed candle holder was designed by Gunnar Ander for YSTAD METALL of Sweden. The "flower" candle cup is designed to catch wax and can be unscrewed for cleaning. The flower holds a thin taper candle (candle not included). Gunnar Ander was a Swedish designer known for his stylish work in glass and brass. An architect by profession, he has designed for well known Scandinavian companies including Ystad Metall.

Era: 1950s - 1960s

Condition: Vintage condition, patina shows wear and some loss of color, especially on one end.
